Our client has an enviable development base and a reputation for delivering quality projects in the residential medium density space, this privately owned building contractor has not missed a beat through the GFC. Their continued success in competitive tendering and level of repeat business stands testament to their finetuned business model that leaves nothing to chance. Once again they have been approached to deliver on behalf of a developer creating an opportunity for an experienced site manager to join their Melbourne operations.
Working in the south east of Melbourne, you will be assigned to a $6M staged construction project comprising of multi unit dwellings targeted at the middle of the range market. You will be responsible for the day to day site activities, scheduling of works, quality of workmanship and management of delivery timeframes.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate;
- Experience in site managing residential development sites over $3M in value.
- A relevant trade background or formal qualification in a construction related discipline.
- Experience in subcontractor coordination and management.
- A proven track record in managing projects from ground works to completion.
- OH&S and QA management and compliance.
- High level communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
